This happened a day after we reported that Town of Woodbury employees were speaking to us, off the record, about not receiving a pay increase in the 2026 budget. But MAGA Woodbury mayoral candidate Brandon Calore and Town Supervisor Kathryn Luciani were giving themselves yet another raise. Luciani remains the highest‑paid town supervisor in Woodbury history, earning a full‑time salary for what is a part‑time job.

The town informed employees there would be no pay increase “because of the Village,” alluding to an expired intermunicipal agreement that Calore and Luciani repeatedly refused to negotiate or to work with the village to renew.
