Steel Beam Better At Job Than Town Supervisor
MAGA is going to MAGA in this week's story about Woodbury Town Supervisor Kathryn Luciani. Doing her level best to let Woodbury residents down on every conceivable level.
Pictured Above: The steel beam holding up the structurally unsound second floor of the Old Woodbury Court House. The beam — which, honestly, we’re not sure is made out of steel or something else — is somehow still better at its job than Woodbury Town Supervisor, Kathryn Luciani is at hers.
Since relocating the Woodbury Town Board and offices for absolutely zero reason, the steel beam has overshadowed Luciani, both on camera and in terms of its ability to stand up for Woodbury residents.
I don’t know about you, but we are on Team Beam for Supervisor this Fall.
So. The Old Courthouse …
Woodbury Town Supervisor Kathryn Luciani has since claimed — like in her most recent “In The Know” PowerPoint abomination — that the Old Courthouse is safe and that occupying it will save taxpayer money.
However, much like New York State Assemblyman Chris Eachus’s Chief of Staff, David Rabbitts, Luciani presents absolutely no facts or figures to back up her claims.
It looks like she just made up a bunch of numbers, much like she made up two slanderous stories about Woodbury Town residents. Much like she made up a story about how her son was the only applicant to work at the Town Animal Shelter. Much like she made up a story about not using the Town-supplied vehicle to joyride down to the Jersey Shore, we could go on. But you get the point.
Most — but not all — of the Orange County Republicans are compulsive liars. And they get away with it because there just aren’t too many journalists around to fact check them. We’ve seen this demonstrated by Crooked County Executive Steve Neuhaus. With Soft on Crime District Attorney David Hoovler. With Monroe Town Supervisor Tony Cardone. With Convicted Felon Tim Mitts. Right down to Woodbury Town Supervisor Kathryn Luciani.
We’ll discuss David Rabbitts — a Democrat, by the way — in an upcoming post, and how he’s acting as a lobbyist for the fossil fuel companies currently endangering your collective health and safety. It is not inaccurate to tell people that, much like State Senator James G. Skoufis, David Rabbitts doesn’t care about you. He cares only about the money, and he’s going to run for local office so he can further enrich himself at your expense.
Yet another Corporate Democrat.
One more thing about the Old Woodbury Court House: Luciani also included a letter from a firm stating the building was safe to occupy. But, because she lives in MAGA Fantasy Land with her friend — and local bigot — Brandon Calore, Mrs. Luciani has omitted yet another key fact. (You’ll note that, not once, has Calore-Luongo-Luciani advocated on behalf of Monroe-Woodbury School District teachers and students who are now under threat by President Elon Musk’s administration. For someone like Luciani to make a big show about a Woodbury resident “swearing in front of children” (that person didn’t, by the way), Luciani is awfully silent about the threat facing our local children from Musk, Trump, and McMahon’s Department of Education.
The Supervisor has carefully omitted the last line of that letter in her public statements, where the firm of Pitingaro & Doetsch Consulting Engineers said the Town of Woodbury should get a Certificate of Occupancy.
Something they don’t legally need, but something they have also not bothered to get from the Village of Woodbury’s Building Department. Mrs. Luciani told the public she got the sign off from Building Inspector John Hand, which was refuted at a previous Woodbury Village Board meeting. She does not have the approval of the Building Department to occupy this building. (We’ve reached out to Building Inspector John Hand for comment. We have also put in a FOIL request with the Town of Woodbury for all docments related to the occupation of the old Woodbury Court House. But since Kathryn Luciani just ignored our FOIL Appeal, we’re getting ready to file an Article 78 against the Town of Woodbury.
That means Mrs. Luciani’s lies and omissions are about to cost Woodbury taxpayers thousands of dollars in legal fees. And it’s going to hapen for no other reason than she, Deputy Supervisor Luongo, and Local Bigot Brandon Calore, are incapable of telling you the truth.

I just wanted to give you a heads-up about something important happening this weekend:
A similar event is happening in Middletown this weekend. I don’t have all the details on that one yet, but I will share them with you when I do.
If you want to stop the Coup, posting your way through it on Facebook, TikTok, or Blue Sky won’t do it. You gotta get off the Internet and get in the streets.
This event on Sunday, March 9th, at 1pm on the Walkway over the Hudson is one way to do just that.
Let’s Appoint Our Friends To The Town Board Instead
The March 6th, 2025 Woodbury Town Board meeting was a short but eventful one. The big thing I want to talk about with you is the resignation of Rob Beckley.
Until last week, Mr Beckley was running on a ticket with Woodbury Supervisor Luciani and Kelly Rinaldi for the Town Board.
You might be wondering what happened. I’m wondering the same. Mr. Beckley won’t comment on the record. And I don’t believe the letter Clovewood Kathryn (Katrhyn Luciani) read last night for a second. For all the reasons we just discussed above.
Here is what I’ve been able to piece together from multiple Woodbury residents.
During a meeting of the Woodbury Republican Committee, the Committee decided to endorse incumbent Mayor Andrew Giacozomma, and candidates Tara M. Burek and CJ (Christopher J.) Graziano.
If those names are familiar, it’s because they were both previously on the Village Board before our Satmar brothers and sisters in WP3 and Highland Lake Estates bloc voted them out. This is something we can demonstrate factually by looking at the district voting totals for that election. You can also see that same phenemenon play out in last Fall’s election where the bloc vote came out universally for Tyler Etzel Jr. and John U. Keleman. This is important to stress, because as we’ve previously reported, Local Bigot Brandon Calore has been telling everyone and anyone that the opposite was true in that 2024 Village election.
(The Woodbury Satmar leadership doesn’t like Tara’s husband, Christopher Gerver, who is the Planning Board Chairman. We’ve covered this in the past. Monroe Gazette subscribers can access the archive. In short, they wanted to replace Gerver with Rick Cattagio, who would then run the Planning Board the same way Tom Shepstone does in South Blooming Grove: Approve everything and anything without any question.)
Woodbury Village residents now have a pretty compelling before and after picture to examine. They can see how well the Village operated with CJ and Tara, and the absolutel shit show that’s followed since Fabbro and Freiband were elected.
Seriously. Freiband is up there telling people to put the sewage and the water in the same sleeves while Fabro’s mother is telling him how to vote. These are not serious people. I do not accept that this is the best Woodbury has to offer. I accept that the Committee to Elect Woodbury Democrats has completely failed to recruit and develop a slate of winning candidates. Why? Well, when you have a bloc vote, you don’t have to work all that hard, you know?
The Woodbury Republican Committee did NOT endorse Local Bigot Bradon Calore for Mayor.
Disgustingly, the Committee to Elect Woodbury Democrats are now looking to endorse this January 6th truther and violent asshole. We’ll talk about that in a future post. Given how awful Fabbro and Freiband have been, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. Also, it’s hilarious to think that a group of people dependent on a bloc vote of my Haredi brothers and sisters will endorse a candidate who often spreads anti-semitic conspiracy theories about his opponents. Good luck with that shit.
At this Republican Committee meeting, Deputy Supervisor Gretchen Weiners and Clovewood Kathryn had a fucking meltdown. I don’t know the nature of the tempertantrum and what was said, just that multiple people confirmed that it happened. During the Woodbury Town Board meeting, you can also hear Luongo stupidly say to Martha Lopez at 20:40 “I’m not going to confirm or deny anything that happened at the Republican committee.”
Hey idiot, when you don’t want people to know something bad, the trick is to just not acknowledge it. (We’ll talk more about Martha Lopez’s statement in a future post. All I’ll say for right now is that how Martha feels about the Republican Committee is pretty close to how I feel about the Monroe Democratic Committee. You just have to swap out Kathryn Luciani with James G. Skoufis and our story is the same.)
After the Luciani-Luongo meltdown, Beckley quit the ticket. Not only did he quit the ticket, he also resigned from the Town Board.
Now, in the past, with an election coming the Woodbury Town Board has held the open seat open. Meaning they chose not to appoint someone so that the voters could decide.
That’s not what happened, because that’s not how Kathryn Luciani rolls. She went ahead and replaced Beckley with the other person running on her ticket: Kelly Rinaldi.
Now. I don’t know Kelly. I’m sure she’s a very nice person. This is not a judgement about Kelly.
But let’s be clear about what just happened: Luciani appointed someone running for the Town Board … To the Town Board. If you watch the video above, there is very little discussion by the board about this appointment. It's not until you get to the Board comments that Calore, Luongo, and Capriglione tried to gaslight the public and say they picked Kelly because she’s some truth teller.
Is she, though? Nobody seems to know anything about her, and it’s not clear how active or involved she was in the community until this very moment.
What happened here is that Luciani decided, in much the same way she hired her son to work for the Town, to exhibit nepotism and the kind of cronyism that is typical of the Trump Administration.
Put another way, Beckley disagreed with Luciani, so Beckley was out. Rinaldi was loyal to Luciani, much like these Trump appointees, so Rinaldi got the job. If you love MAGA, then you are probably totally fine with this. But I promise you that you are not the majority of people out there, and most people hate this sort of bullshit.
Team Beam for Supervisor this Fall.
