Stop Believing Tony Cardone's Facebook Hysteria
He's distracting you from Henry Farm—here's the real threat"

On Friday, I’m going to do a write-up about the nuttiness in Woodbury concerning a friend of James G. Skoufis, former Town Supervisor Kathyn Luciani, and MAGA Fuck, Brandon Calore. Some of you may already know who their friend is, if not, it’s Abraham Mueller, who reminded everyone an election was coming by hurling claims of antisemitism.
That’s how you know it’s almost election time, baby!

Now. If you haven’t seen the Monday, August 10th, 2026 Monroe Town Board meeting for yourself, you should.
Originally, I was going to just say, “This video speaks for itself” but it actually needs like, three hours of explaining. So, here’s my attempt to answer what I can, with the promise we’ll continue to monitor this story.
Question: What’s going on with the property owned by Joel Mann on the other side of the Round Lake Island. I can see it from Lakes Road.
Answer: Nothing.
As it turns out, Mann has no plans for the property at this time, and this all appears to be ginned up hysteria from Convicted Felon Tim Mitts, former Town Supervisor Tony Cardone, former Town Board Member Dorey Houle, and three-time loser on the ballot, their friend Steven Thau.
If you watch the meeting, it’s clear Cardone is leading this loser brigade, making speeches, shouting from the crowd, disrupting the meeting, and just acting the way any other MAGA freak does when they lose an election.
This is the fourth or fifth Town Board meeting that he’s turned into a circus, and I think his ass should be booted out of Town Hall for good.
That’s just my opinion. Fuck him. Don’t call the cops. Kick the losers out. And you know something else?
Question: Does Supervisor Richardson think this Facebook shit is real?
Answer: Yes. My biggest pet peeve about our Supervisor is that she thinks the drama on Facebook is real.
It’s not the first time I’ve shared this concern with her. It won’t be the last.
I think this Round Lake situation is going to be another one of those scenarios where, if she had ignored it while continuing to do her due diligence into the accusations—we’ll get to that—against Mann, that would have been the best approach.
The majority of the people that are slagging her are the same people who were doing so when she wanted to run—this includes numerous weirdos on the defunct Town of Monroe Democratic Committee—and will continue to do so if she runs for re-election.
Many of them are bigots, and you can hear that in the video above whenever the words “our community” is used.
Sorry Boomers, Haredi live in Monroe too. Not just Satmar. And if you’re saying they’re NOT Monroe residents because they’re Satmar, which is what’s heavily implied in this “our community” shit, you’re successfully going to earn the label of bigot.
Congratulations, you’ve now lost every zoning and planning board battle before they even began.
Good job, losers.
Listen, there are about 10,000 people who live in the Town of Monroe. On Facebook, I see the same thirty or so schmucks in every local group (I say that lovingly. I’m one of those schmucks). These people do the majority of posting and commentating. And this isn’t counting the sock puppets people like Convicted Felon Tim Mitts and environmental fraudster, Jay Westerveld, use to manipulate people.
Question: But that might change, right? There COULD be development around Round Lake in the future.
Answer: Yes. There’s a lot of interest in developing in and around Lakes Road, which is an Orange County scenic byway, gateway to New Jersey, and in recent years, frequently underwater because of our planet’s Climate Emergency.
Something that is never taken into account at any of these Planning Board meetings or by the developers looking to do the least amount of work when it comes to little things like SEQR (the State Environmental Quality Review Act).
But here’s the thing:
The project y’all should be worried about is not the phantom project Joel Mann may or may not have for Round Lake.
It’s Henry Farm. It’s Meadow Hill Estates.
If you’re not familiar with that Henry Farm project—we first covered it two years ago—you might want to start looking that shit up. Because the impression I got from watching this meeting was that Cardone and friends want to distract us all from the real threat with a phantom menace.
Question: Should we trust Joel Mann?
Answer: Fuck no. But until he actually does something, there’s no story here. Otherwise, it’s his property. You may not like what he does with it, but I may not like what you do with yours.
Question: What are the allegations against Mann?
Answer: Tony Cardone claims he saw big sewer pipes, but when exactly did we start believing this man about anything after gaslighting the community for nearly a decade?
You mean to tell me, the guy who ignored a public health emergency, caused in part by Orange County, suddenly is “talking to the county” about these sewer pipes? The same sewer pipes connected to the same sewer district he’s showed zero interest in fixing?
Really?
Wasn’t this the dude who claimed he met with Monroe-Woodbury about the speeding buses last year, and only Carol Hawxhurst, his friend, claims that meeting happened?
You all remember when Tony Cardone fixed the speeding bus problem in our community, right?
And wasn’t this the same dude who claimed to be in regular communication with the State Police through a “group chat,” back when residents asked him about issues concerning police coverage, only for the State Police to go, “Lol. The last time we talked to that bitch was when he didn’t want to de-ice our steps.”
That’s right. You know how we know? Because we covered that story too.
So, if it’s coming out of Tony Cardone, Dorey Houle, Steven Thau, Carol Scully—Houle’s former State Senate campaign manager, which she never discloses—her husband, or Carol Hawxhurst’s mouths, you have been given no reason over the last near three years to ignore these people.
They are losers. They lost. They lost big. And now, because death isn’t coming fast enough for some, they’re filling their remaining days by just trying to fuck this town in the ass in any way possible. And not in a good way, either.
But.
When you hold a whole ass meeting to discuss a controversy they created on Facebook, you wind up looking bad and giving them exactly what they want: A distraction from the perilous financial condition of the Town that they created, a distraction from the real mega developments coming like Henry Farm that their people approved and moved forward, and a distraction from Cardone’s own brewing scandal in the Village of Walden. One where he gave a cushy, $100k a year job to his BFF, Kathryn Luciani. Whether or not Cardone actually interviewed anyone is now the subject of an ongoing FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) request.
So, no dude. I’m not going to believe these people when they start playing anti-semitic wolf, and you shouldn’t either.
That said, Joel Mann repeatedly claimed there are issues with his property related to the Round Lake Interceptor and Orange County Sewer District 1 Infrastructure.
If this is true, it should be verifiable.
However, I am warning you now that Orange County takes six months to complete any FOIL request, and that’s only if they feel like it. So I’m going to pull all the DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) and Orange County FOILs related to Mr. Mann’s property, and the actual data will give us the truth. Not Tony Cardone and his decrepit Boomer pals.
Pals, by the way, who failed to mention the continued absence of Councilman Sal Scancarello at last night’s meeting, and that Cardone and Houle were there to congratulate their pal in the Village of Monroe, Alex Melchiorrie, whom we’ve documented for you, is factually a puppet of the real estate developers.
Cardone, Houle, Thau, Scully, Hawxhurst, and friends have repeatedly failed to bring up what’s going on over in the Village or Scancarello’s frequent absences.
If you’re that concerned about what the real estate developers are doing, what explains the radio silence on their part other than that their claims are hysterical and full of shit?
Question: So Who Should We Trust If Everyone Is Lying?
Answer: Ah. This. This is the question you should be asking.
Monroe residents, because of South Blooming Grove, because of 50 years of factually demonstrable behavior, have no reason to trust any of the real estate developers. None of them. Doesn’t matter if they’re Satmar or not. (See: Courts, Wayne.)
As I’ve just explained, Tony Cardone and friends should be put on a raft and have a flaming arrow shot at them. But since this is 2026, the best you can do is not feed their bullshit the way Supervisor Richardson did with this meeting.
That brings us to the Supervisor herself and the current board. Do we trust them? And the answer is, I don’t know.
Because when I talk to the Supervisor, I get a straight answer more often than not. (Contrast that with Tony Cardone, who didn’t give anyone a straight answer for nearly a decade on anything when he was Supervisor.
But then I hear other things about Supervisor Richardson, and those things sound entirely plausible, but there’s no proof.
Show me the proof.
Seriously.
If you’ve got something to say about any of the current board members, where’s your proof?
Show me. Because I will absolutely cover it if you have something conclusive. Not this “I called the County. Trust me” shit like Cardone and Thau were spewing.
I’ve put in a FOIL request for all of Supervisor Richardson’s emails in order to find things I’ve been told to look for.
I’m doing the work.
If I find something, I’ll tell you.
That said, I don’t have a good feeling about almost anyone that spoke last night.
I really don’t. It was disheartening to watch. Because unless we’re all careful, these dumbasses are going to be back in power, and that will be the end.
Time is not on your side.
So I came away watching that meeting pissed off.
Because if any of these people were serious, they’d organize. This shit’s been going on for fifty years, where’s your organization?
You don’t have one.
Why don’t you have one?
Because you don’t want to be considered a bigot or antisemite?
Well that’s easy, bring proof the next time you have a Satmar real estate developer willing to answer your questions for over an hour.

Oh yeah? My ex-wife swears she saw Bigfoot once when we were driving through the Adirondacks. I wasn’t paying attention, because I was probably just thinking about banging my ex-wife. So I didn’t see it. But she says she did.
I choose to believe her.
Some asshole in front of a podium, who said loudly enough to be heard by more than a few residents, “I’m sweating more than an n-word in heat”? Yeah. I’m not going to believe that guy.
And you shouldn’t either.
If you’ve got a problem, get your phone and record it.
Seriously.
These are all Boomers, right? If you look into the crowd of people that showed up, it looked like the nursing home emptied out.
So demographically and statistically speaking, ALL OF YOU HAVE iPHONES.
USE THEM!
What is this “I have pictures shit?” Send them in to the Building Inspector TONY!
Question: Can we win this fight?
Answer: Hell yes.
But not with any of these people talking at that meeting. Those people have already lost. Because now when Mann introduces a permit to build, and there’s a problem, he’s going to be able to share all these crazed Facebook comments and the BS from this meeting to demonstrate that Monroe is hostile to Satmar developers.
And no judge will think he’s wrong when he does.
