What Does the Ku Klux Klan Act Have to Do with South Blooming Grove?
A preview of upcoming posts and an update on where things stand with Joel Stern's attempt to steal his third straight village election.
Pictured Above: 815 State Route 208, currently the location of Blooming Realty, is owned by South Blooming Grove Village Executive Joel Stern’s Preferred Estates Realty LLC. In June 2025 and again in October 2025, this property—rather than Village Hall or the neighboring fire department—was used to hold a secret referendum to change the March 2026 Village election to October 2025. Subsequently, it hosted a secret election known only to Joel Stern and his associates. This matter is allegedly under investigation by New York State Attorney General Letitia James, but don’t hold your breath. You’ll be dead before she does nothing and hopes you forget this happened—just in time for her re-election campaign in November 2026.
If you think we’re exaggerating, let me point out that South Blooming Grove wouldn’t be the first case of election fraud that Letitia James conveniently ignored involving our Haredi brothers and sisters.
I am currently editing Part 1 of our story on the South Blooming Grove helicopter. If you missed it, you can—and should—check it out here.
Once I’m done shortening it, I’ll record the story and share the audio edition with you. Then we’ll rinse and repeat, and I’ll get Part 2 of the helicopter story online.
And yes, have no fear: new episodes of The Finley will resume shortly. They got held up since I couldn’t investigate the South Blooming Grove election fraud story, the helicopter story, and do The Finley while writing my book at the same time.
(For more on my new book, How to Protect Yourself From Fascists and Weirdos, you can subscribe to Stupid Sexy Privacy here. It’s free. The book will be released for free, by the way, to subscribers of Stupid Sexy Privacy.)
I also need to get this massive South Blooming Grove election fraud document to… someone. I am not allowed to tell you who.
What I can tell you is that the massive document, with some things removed, will also be posted here on The Monroe Gazette in January, just in case nothing comes of it.
Now, you might be wondering what the latest is on the South Blooming Grove election.
Right now, all we can do is wait to see whether State Attorney General Letitia James acts. If she does, great. We’ll at least get a new election—since I am willing to bet my left testicle, the one that’s always trying to escape—that James won’t dare press criminal charges against Joel Stern and Isaac Ekstein.
James is up for re-election. So too is Kathy Hochul, although remember it’s not too late to register as a Democrat and vote for Antonio Delgado, someone we interviewed recently on The Finley. You can listen to that interview here. We do not have to settle for Kathy Hochul. That is a choice. We can make a different one.
If we get a new election, both the Haredi and non-Haredi communities will together decide the future of this village.
Either Joel Stern and Isaac Ekstein’s white-collar crime spree will continue and worsen conditions for all residents—including those in the surrounding towns of Monroe, Woodbury, and Palm Tree—or there will be new management. That new management will use all of its investigative authority to gather evidence and assist in the prosecution of everyone involved in the white-collar crime spree.
This would include Moche Halpern and Lazar Schvimmer, who run Blooming Realty. (Yes, the building Mr. Stern owns and is said to have held a secret referendum to move the election and then the secret election.) Mr. Halpern is also a board member of Joel Stern’s United Jewish Community of Blooming Grove, Inc., which had its not-for-profit status revoked by the IRS in May 2022 for failure to file the appropriate forms. Lazar Schvimmer either rented—or provided freely—the bottom of 2 Arlington Drive to Joel Stern’s co-conspirator, Isaac Ekstein. As some of you recall, 2 Arlington Drive is the address that tried to request hundreds of absentee ballots, which the Orange County District Attorney’s Office referred to the FBI.
If she decides to demonstrate some kind of backbone—fighting with Trump is easy for James; it doesn’t take much of a spine because he’s an idiot and she has a legal degree—James may pursue criminal charges against Stern and Ekstein. I hope I’m wrong; I really do. But this ain’t happening.
Most likely, though, James will do nothing. That means your only form of recourse is to sue Letitia James again and demand she actually do her job. This will fail, and that’s okay because it helps you demonstrate to a federal judge that Letitia James was made aware of factual irregularities and potential voter fraud not once but twice, and she did nothing about it.
I gotta tell you: The MAGA people are stupid. They’re trying to get Letitia James on bogus mortgage fraud claims; and here is an honest to god scandal involving Letitia James, and they don’t want to touch it.
Here’s a hint why …
Pictured Above: MAGA Mikes (Speaker Mike Johnson and Congressman Mike Lawler) told David Twersky, Grand Rebbe of the Skvere branch of the Satmar religious sect that they were going to arrange for a meeting between Twersky and Trump. A fun fact about New Square is that 99.9% of its residents came out for Trump in 2024, with Eric Trump personally giving New Square a shout out. The Monsey Scoop claimed the 99.9% voter turnout in New Square for Trump was, “the highest margin of victory recorded in any municipality across the nation.”
We’ll be talking a lot about the Skvere in 2026 when we start reporting on the Swan in The Lake project over in Sullivan County.
So, given that Mrs. James is unlikely to do anything, a federal judge will want to see that because then the other form of recourse is a federal lawsuit. One using the Ku Klux Klan Act.
As briefly as I can put it, the Ku Klux Klan Act makes it illegal for someone to conspire to keep you from voting, and for having the laws applied unequally to you as opposed to someone else.
If you’re already screaming about the second garbage pickup or the litany of instances where Stern and Ekstein have demonstrated the Village of South Blooming Grove only works for the Satmar and no one else, you guessed correctly where this is going.
The actions detailed by The Monroe Gazette, as well as Little Dick Energy State Senator, James G. Skoufis, factually demonstrate evidence of conspiracy to prohibit South Blooming Grove residents from voting.
In order to aid in the filing of this federal lawsuit, the Monroe Gazette is taking some action against the Village of South Blooming Grove. I was going to tell you today what it is, but we have to wait for one more thing to happen. So, on January 2nd, 2026 when we return with the audio edition of the helicopter story, I’ll be able to share our belated Christmas and Hannuka gift with you.
I’ll give you a hint: It involves the 2024 Village of South Blooming Grove election—the one they skipped.
