Woodbury Man Completely Out Of His Depth, While Another Touches Himself
Another day, another incident in Woodbury. And another coverup by Supervisor Luciani and Brandon Calore. Because in their version of Woodbury, Dear Leaders would never try to trick Woodbury residents.
I’m getting a lot of questions about Mr. Simcha Felberbaum, and Woodbury Mayoral candidate, Brandon Calore, and Woodbury Town Supervisor Kathryn Luciani’s coverup of an alleged incident involving him.
Not a surprise that two Republicans would find themselves covering up an alleged sex crime, given that President Trump is doing his best to memory hole his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
If there’s nothing to hide, why is the president refusing to release The Epstein Files?
So, today is a very brief post to let you know what’s going on, and what The Monroe Gazette is investigating.
As some of you know, this is not the first time Brandon Calore, Kathryn Luciani, and their Amazing Friends (Teresa Luongo, Kelly Rinaldi, and Sandra Capriglione) have tried to cover up an embarassing incident wherein they failed to inform the public of a potential threat to their health and safety.
The last time involved a manhunt for a murder suspect who escaped into the woods in September of 2024.
In Mrs. Rinaldi’s defense, she was not on the Town Board at the time. Since Supervisor Kathryn Luciani was elected — and made herself the highest paid Town Supervisor in the history of Woodbury — there’s been a revolving door of resignations from the Town, including two Town Board members.
The resignation of the second Town Board member under Luciani’s leadership, Robert Beckley, has still never been fully explained to the public.
Why the seat wasn’t left open, given that there will be an election for it this November, was also never fully explained by Supervisor Luciani. Kelly Rinaldi was appointed to the position, despite protests from the public.
Kelly Rinaldi is Mrs. Luciani’s runningmate this November, and can often be seen not offering much to Woodbury residents beyond nodding her head at everything Supervisor Kathryn Luciani says. This is the price for getting appointed to the seat you’re running for I guess.
In September of 2024, residents accused the Supervisor and Town Board members, including Brandon Calore, from communicating properly with the public about the manhunt and its aftermath. They stated the Supervisor and Town Board was lying about their effort, or lackthereof.
(If this complaint sounds familar to Monroe residents, it should. Because it mirrors Town Board member Dorey Houle only communicating to her friends on Facebook about the severity of the Jennings Creek Fire, and its related fires, instead of all Town residents. Mrs. Houle is also up for re-election this Fall.)
Those accusations of poor communication — this time concerning the situation with Mr. Simcha Felberbaum — have returned.
According to residents, and despite statements by the Town, not all parents and park employees were informed of the alleged incident involving Mr. Felberbaum.
As you can see from the above documents, obtained via FOIL, Mr. Felberbaum was observed by Woodbury Parks Employee, William Geiler, getting off to porn. Mr. Geiler reported the incident to the police.
In the Satmar community, masturbation is frowned upon. It’s an extreme interpetation of a Torah admonishment not to waste your seed, and those who feel the “Call of the Wild” often need to visit the woods or other odd locations to do what must be done. In Mr. Felberbaum’s case, he is alleged to have selected a location accessible to children.
Mysteriously, and as far as we’ve been able to ascertain, Woodbury Police Chief Watson did not include Mr. Felberbaum’s name in the police blotter.
Why is something you’d have to ask Chief Watson. Maybe it has something to do with those private security contracts Watson is alleged to maintain within the Village of Kiryas Joel.
Maybe not.
Maybe some enterprising Town Board candidates should call for Chief Watson to resign until, or if, he can verify that these private security contracts no longer exist.
Then again, the fact that Kathryn Luciani and Brandon Calore seem to have no problem with these alleged private security contracts within the Village of Kiryas Joel should be yet another reason for you not to vote for them.
Anyway, the alleged incident involving Mr. Felberbaum occured on July 3rd.
The Woodbury Town Board did not make a public statement, as far as we were able to determine, until July 19th. 16 days later.
The Facebook post was also updated and edited multiple times from its original posting, meaning it’s not clear what version members of the public saw, when they saw the notice, if they saw it at all.
Facebook is an inappropriate place for municipalities to rely upon to distribute urgent information, especially given the flood of Synthetic Media (AI created content) and active participants in spreading disinformation, like Brandon Calore’s unpaid child labor campaign manager, Elias Cunningham.
Below is the version of the Town’s statement, captured by one resident and shared with The Monroe Gazette. The Monroe Gazette is not a member of Families of Woodbury, because the group often serves as a vector of disinformation on behalf of some of Woodbury’s Worst Bad Actors.
(The only place Woodbury residents should go for factual information is Woodbury United. A Facebook Group operated by The Monroe Gazette.)
Yesterday, July 24th, 2025, a hearing was scheduled concerning the charges against Mr. Felberbaum. A large group of Woodbury residents were interested in attending. The Town Supervisor, Brandon Calore, and other Town Board members were inside the Woodbury Court House at the time. Below is the Supervisor’s Town Vehicle parked at the Court House.
While these concerned residents waited to enter, Brandon Calore’s wife, Joanne Calore, was observed violating New York State’s new “No Hands Law” and filming the crowd on her smartphone while driving. This was verified by multiple witnesses.
Why Chief Watson and the Woodbury Police did not charge Mrs. Calore with committing a motor vehicle violation is also something you will have to ask Chief Watson.
Given that Brandon Calore was accused of assaulting a disabled teenager in an ice cream shop parking lot some years ago, and later had the charges mysteriously dropped, perhaps Mr. Watson wanted to do another favor for the Calore Crime Family.
Despite the interest on the part of Woodbury residents, and despite the presence of the Town Board — and Mrs. Calore’s observed violation of NYS Traffic Law — the Woodbury residents were not allowed into the Woodbury Court House.
Mr. Felberbaum’s attorney stated that they came down with COVID, and requested that the hearing be postponed for a few weeks. We are currently investigating whether or not the Woodbury Court employees, and Woodbury Town officials, behaved appropriately in denying enty to the public for Mr. Felberbaum’s hearing.
Unfortunately, in covering this particular group of individuals (the current Woodbury Town Board) for nearly two years now, none of this is surprising.
All they have to offer you is bullshit, grievance, and victimhood.
Any criticism is dismissed as “nasty comments on social media.” Or responded to by saying something like “We have to come together as a community and move beyond these divisive statements.”
You know where else they say that? In Communist China.
Think on that the next time Calore’s campaign manager puts out another Tim Mitts Style Facebook Post where he’s talking about unity and community, all while calling out “divisiveness” and remember that the Maoists say that shit too.
They only call for unity whenever someone criticizes them, did you ever notice that?
The bad news is, this November, if Calore-Freiband-Fabbro take over the Village, and Rinaldi-Luciani-Yaffe take over the Town, this problem is only going to get worse.
Because then you have a South Blooming Grove-like situation where your entire local government has been co-opted by flunkies funded by the wealthy real estate developers. If you doubt this, go and watch this week’s Town Board meeting. You’ll see Supervisor Luciani shut down a question about Brandon Calore’s potential abuse of his Town Board position by saying the quesiton isn’t about Town business.
This Man Is Out Of His Depth
And I just want to make one more point on this before we get to the FOIL. Below is a neat bit of fascist propoganda put out by a man under investigaiton by the Orange County Board of Ethics concerning his ties with South Blooming Grove.
Sounds great, right? Until you get to viewing the actual meeting:
Because if you watch the actual meeting, as I told you about yesterday, numerous Town and Village officials from across Orange County grill Orange County Legislator Peter Tuohy on a number of issues.
You know who doesn’t say a single word? Brandon Calore.
And you know what else? A couple of months ago, Brandon Calore went to a public hearing where he tried to shoot down Woodbury’s attempt to get near thirty acres of parkland.
But guess who was at the OCSD1 Public Hearing yesterday and said nothing about the environmental impacts of the upgraded sewage plant? Brandon Calore.
Where are those laughing emojis now, Brandon? I guess “Fuck those turtles” is the new campaign slogan.
And guess who said nothing about the potnetial financial impact the new sewage plant would have on Woodbury residents? Brandon Calore.
And guess who said nothing about South Blooming Grove’s abuse and misuse of the new sewer infrastructure, which was a point raised by almost everyone else who spoke at the public hearing? Brandon Calore.
I guess he didn’t want to upset Joel Stern and Isaac Ekstein.
Given that it’s been alleged by some of our Satmar readers that Mr. Ekstein is responsible for the United Jewish Community of Woodbury’s endorsement of Brandon Calore during the Republican primary for Mayor in June.
This man is out of his depth. That’s why the only person he’s able to find to work on his campaign is a far right MAGA Troll who thinks everything RFK Jr. is doing to our nation’s health infrastructure is just dandy.
You can and should judge people by the company they keep.
